Sabit Ortodontik Tedaviler
Fixed orthodontic treatments include metal or porcelain brackets placed on the outer surfaces of the teeth and lingual treatments placed on the inner surfaces of the teeth. Patients may experience some problems during fixed orthodontic treatment such as temporary difficulty in eating, speaking and swallowing, minor tooth pain and sores may occur on the lips, cheeks and tongue. This may last for 1 week to 10 days. Control sessions are scheduled monthly. There are restrictions on eating and drinking during the treatment. Due to the accumulation of food debris and bacterial plaque on the teeth because of the brackets, adherence to hygiene rules becomes more important.
