Fixed Orthodontic Treatment

Fixed orthodontic treatments include metal or porcelain brackets attached to the outer surfaces of the teeth and lingual treatments attached to the inner surfaces of the teeth. During the adaptation process to this treatment method, mild discomfort in the teeth, small ulcer-like sores may occur, and this can last for 1 week to 10 days. Control sessions are scheduled monthly. There are restrictions on eating and drinking during the treatment. Due to the increased accumulation of food particles and bacterial plaque on the teeth due to the brackets, adherence to hygiene rules becomes much more important.
